Denali PEAK Correspondence/Homeschool Program is proud to have the opportunity to offer Apple products to our students who enroll in our program. For the 2018/2019 school year, we will offer 6th Generation iPads, 13" MacBook Air laptops, and 21.5" iMac desktops. We are also introducing the option to have parents/guardians purchase technology outside of Denali PEAK.
Our Apple products come at no cost to the student, as "payments" will be made directly out of the student's allotment funds. "Buy Your Own Device" (BYOD) technology is reimbursed from the student's allotment. Denali PEAK will make a 100% allotment deduction for the cost of an iPad/tablet (not to exceed $500), and computers will be deducted from the allotment over the course of three years (the first year is 50% of the cost, second and third year are 25% of the cost).
Denali PEAK may provide services to Apple devices purchased through Denali PEAK; if Denali PEAK's technology department cannot fix the problem, all Apple products come with a two year AppleCare+ warranty that will cover things such as hardware/software issues and even physical damage. Please see Apple's Support webpage for more information.
Another option for our Denali PEAK students is to "rent" a computer from the school. If available, Denali PEAK can issue a "borrowed computer" for a small fee out of the allotment deduction. The computer may be a couple years old (it might have a dent or scratch on it), but they are fully functional and are a great lower cost option than purchasing a brand new computer at full cost.
